macSVG is a MIT-licensed open-source macOS app for designing HTML5 SVG 1.1 (Scalable Vector Graphics) art and animation. macSVG can produce dynamic, high-quality graphics and animation for HTML5 web views that work on most major desktop and mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, macOS, Microsoft Windows and Linux. macSVG uses the standard macOS WebKit framework for interactive editing and rendering of SVG documents, in addition to several Cocoa plug-in bundles for editing SVG elements and attributes. Apple’s free Xcode system is required to build the macOS application from the source code. Most of the application source code is written in Objective-C language, but a Swift language target has been added recently for a plug-in editor bundle. To build macSVG.app, open "macSVG.xcworkspace" in Xcode, set the build target to "macSVG Debug", build and run.

PicPodz is on the Mac App Store (http://is.gd/iAEWHn) PicPodz is an OS X 10.10 desktop photo slideshow in the form of a sphere. Just drag images into the window then change modes. Pics will change randomly. Resize or maximize to suit your needs. I recommend organizing copies of pics into folders, rather than using originals. Just select all images and drop them into the window.

Agar provides a base GUI framework and a standard set of widgets from which graphical applications can be built which run natively under X11, Windows, MacOS, SDL and others. It takes advantage of texture and GPU acceleration wherever available. Agar can also attach to an existing framebuffer, SDL or OpenGL context and operate as a self-contained window-manager. It includes a standard library of general-purpose widgets, and is also designed to be extended externally. New widgets can be implemented as part of an application or library. Complex user interface elements can be realized often in few lines of code. Agar is also extensible at the low-level. The low-level API is documented such that modular drivers can be written which enable Agar applications to work seamlessly under many platforms graphics systems without any change at the application level.
